Here is an interesting and important addition to our links page. Wally made the excellent suggestion to add the Amberg Museum (in Amberg, Wis.) to our links page.
Why? Primarily because their museum complex includes not one, but two, rare, former Milwaukee & Northern depots. They have preserved the Amberg and Cedarville depots, in addition to several other awesome historic buildings from the Amberg-area. Well, the Cedarville depot was actually built by the Milwaukee Road (MILW). That’s OK with us, we are also fans of the MILW for obvious reasons.
Obviously their entire web site (as well as their physical museum complex) will be of interest to any local history buff, but their Amberg Depot Exhibit will grab the attention of our fellow railroad history aficionados.
