The Milwaukee & Northern (M&N) was built and operated between 1870 and 1893. It became the Superior Division of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul (CM&StP), or Milwaukee Road (MILW), after they took over the M&N in 1893. The MILW reorganized as the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific (CMStP&P) in 1928.
Seeing as most of the historic M&N right-of-way still supports active rails, we will collect and share photographs and information regarding contemporary railroad action along the line on this section of our web site.
